Personal financial planning

Our aim is to provide you with personalised and meaningful financial advice that will help you meet your objectives.

Our process follows four steps:

1. Initial consultation meeting

We meet with you to discuss your goals and aspirations as well as any queries or concerns that you may have. We want to ensure you understand how we can work with you to help you achieve your goals, and how we charge for our services. At this stage, we also gather all the information required to enable us to prepare a complete financial plan for you including, for example, details of your current financial situation and your attitude to investment risk.

2. Research and analysis

We collect information from any third parties on what you may already have in place, for example existing pension, investment and protection policies. We analyse these plans as part of our wider research to ensure that we can make the most appropriate recommendations in line with your goals and attitude to risk.

3. Recommendation and implementation

We will meet again, and having taken all research and analysis into account, and based on your objectives and priorities, we will present you with our tailored financial recommendations. This meeting also provides the opportunity for us to explain the research we have carried out and how we have arrived at our recommendation, and for you to ask any questions that you may have. Once your financial plan is agreed, we will assist you with putting it in place, which could include helping complete any application forms and other paperwork.

4. Ongoing monitoring and advice

We aim to build a long-lasting, trusted relationship with you and believe an essential part of this is the ongoing review of your financial plan to ensure that it continues to match your goals and objectives, throughout your lifetime. Typically, our ongoing advice services include:

  • an annual, or more regular review meeting depending on needs
  • re-assessment of your circumstances and any changes to your plan that may be required
  • regular updates and information regarding your investments
  • ongoing support with administrative or general queries you may have

The value of investments can fall as well as rise. You may get back less than you invested.
