Meet the team
Chartered Financial Planner, FPFS, ACII, Certs CII (MP & ER)
I started my career in financial services working for a pensions provider, in a range of varied and interesting roles, before moving on to an advice role in 2007 at a large employee benefits consultancy. I’ve provided advice to organisations of all sizes on their employee benefits, from the smallest charities to some of the largest companies in the UK, as well as advising individuals on understanding and maximising their income in retirement.
From gaining the Financial Planning Certificate in 2003, I’ve gone on to attain the Advanced Diploma in Insurance, Diploma in Financial Planning and Certificates in Mortgage Advice and Equity Release. I’m also a Chartered Insurance Practitioner.
Outside of work, I enjoy staying active. I belong to my local rowing club and take part in regattas along the south coast (during summer!). I also enjoy cycling, swimming and running, and have taken part in a number of marathons and ultra-marathons.
DipPFS, Cert CII (MP)
My career in financial services started out at a large insurance company, where I worked mainly with corporate pension clients. I then spent a number of years with a global employee benefits consultancy, before most recently co-founding Compass. I've enjoyed working with a broad range of clients including individuals with a variety of financial needs, and businesses ranging from small companies to multinational corporates and charities. For me, job satisfaction comes from helping people and the variety or work that comes from clients' differing circumstances, challenges, needs and goals.
I have professional qualifications in financial planning, mortgage advice and employee benefits. I'm also a member of the Personal Finance Society, Chartered Insurance Institute and Society of Mortgage Professionals.
In my spare time, a young and energetic family keeps me on my toes. But when I get the chance, I’m a keen photographer, I like to cook (and eat!) and I love my music - especially Blues & Rock, although sadly it's more dust than riffs being laid down on my guitars these days. And like any self-respecting Goodwood neighbour, I’m a big petrolhead and Formula 1 fan.
